Hi All,

I have just bought a cayenne turbo (2004) for my wife. The buttons on the steering wheel are slightly damaged and therefore I would like to replca them. Does anybody have any experience in this or a DIY link? My steeringwheel has the 4LC option (multifunction including mobile phone) Thanks in advance

Hi

The buttons are not available separately, they are part of the airbag, the TIP buttons and the multifunction buttons as well.

This is a really poor design. The coating they use on the buttons is simply too soft. It peels right off. Isn't there some kind of interior touch-up paint you can get? A new airbag assembly costs several hundred dollars!

I LOVE the interior of the Cayenne - the two-tone and wood combination is about the nicest around. But now all I can see are the $%#@ scratches on my buttons. Surely there is a better fix?! (I don't mind spending the bucks on a new airbag, but I'm 100% confident it will get damaged within weeks and I'll be back where I started!)

Any suggestions?

Cody

Please tell me!

Many thanks!
