Hi

Car placed horizontally - engine running at idle - transmission in P - transmission oil temperature between 40° C and 45° C ( you need the PIWIS to check the transmission oil temperature ) - remove the big insert bolt in the oil pan and fill up til the oil overflow a little - replace the insert bolt.

RFM, thank you for your response. I would assume this "big insert bolt" is located on the top side of the transmission and to access it is from under the car?

Thank you,

Scott

The bolt is located in the oil pan on the bottom of the transmission ( the black steel pan ). The difference with the most transmissions is the way of filling, from the BOTTOM to the TOP.
