Hello I have a 99 boxster with the litronic headlights

I have a problem with the passenger side. The turn signal and the day time running light do not want to turn on.

I switched the bulbs with the other side and they work. I also used a tester and they light up so I guess it has to be something with the wires.

Everything else works on the headlight unit like the Xeon bulbs. the Regular highbeams ect.

anyideas? does someone have a wire diagram of the headlight ect so I can maybe see what all of these wires do...

Thanks!

Greg

Check the connector that stays in the body when you remove the headlight.

I've seen broken connectors and I've seen the pins pushed out the connector so they don't make contact.

Hey thanks for the quick reply...

Im looking at the connector right now and I cant seem to get it out as it is attached to that black part that the headlight slides into...

is there a trick to get it out as I dont want to crack and wreck anything...

I finally got it to work

I ended up putting sanding down the metal prongs on the connections as i was out of ideas. I also put on some electric gel for better conduction and everything works great now

Thank you
