Hi,

I use a 2004 Carrera Coupe and PCM 2.0 w/ latest Software (3.0). The car is equipped with a MOST bus, sound option and CD changer.

It shows the following problem when switching it off by removing the ignition key and locking the car:

- when it is turned to radio while switching it off, the next time the car is turned on the sound will be odd - no bass and only the front speakers seem to work

- this will persist until one resets the PCM2 pressing 1-4-8 on the keypad simultaneously. After the reset, the sound will be back to normal.

- the problem will not occur if the PCM when the CD changer is active when switching it off

- the problem will neither occur when you don't lock the car (no MOSTbus reset?)

For me, it looks like either a software or firmware problem - but also some hardware problem is possible.

Has anyone a clue ? Is there a way for a complete factory reset ?

h.
