I've been noticing the "Fluid Extractor" in the SkyMall and Griot's Garage catalog for a while and my BMW and Boxster are nearing time for oil changes. I'm wondering if this is really an easier way. I'm suspicious, but (according to the catalogs) this is how Mercedes does their oil changes. Has anyone tried one?

That is how it is done on some Mercedes.

I do not know that brand.

But in the past when people have tried the devices that suck the oil out they were not able to get the tube into the sump.
