Hi,

I recently purchased a 1999 996 C2 with 56,000mls on the clock. It had a full service just when I bought it.

However the brake pad sensor kept coming on and off so I booked it in with a porsche specialist. On the way to the garage the car started to decelerate from about 90mph to 80 mph, and would not accelerate. I then changed down to fourth and it seemed to rectify itself.

When hooked up to the computer it had a record of a cam sensor fault, but the specialist that he would delete it and it should not be a problem. The original pad sensor warning light he put down to a faulty sensor as the front pads were nearly new and the rears have a few thousand miles on them. He took out all sensors and put them back again.

today when driving, my brakes appear to be sticking when I slow down and stop. If i hit the pedal at a low speed and remove my foot the car continues to brake.

Does this make sense to anyone, as I have no idea what is going on!

Thanks for any help.
