I am new to this game. I just purchased a 2004 cabriolet c4s in the u.S. And drove it back to Canada. I wanted to 'personalize it with aluminum upgrades -door sills and lids, center console-and to my surprise-all porsche can come up with is painted plastic !!!! Are there any aftemarket products out there that are actually aluminum???

You can find a lot of Aluminum-look interior parts at www.suncoastporsche.com. They have an online parts department.

no-all those products are what I am complaining about alu-loo  k= painted plastic. If you go on ebay-there is a guy who will sell you exactly the same product ( center console) for 200 bucks and gives you 100 for your console. So oem 'plastic' ranges from $405 to $750 and all they do is add paint! Capitalism is live and well!
