Can someone advise me how to correctly wire a fixed wing to avoid getting the "Your wing did not raise" message when I exceed 75 mph? The message goes away when I turn off the car and only comes on when I exceed 75.

I installed a fixed carrera wing (cab aero wing from Precision Porsche) and re-connected the fan. engine area light and wing 3rd brake light. The three wires that went to fully raised indicator (I think) are wired together. The other 3 wires were left alone. The new 3rd brake light works fine. The original light no longer comes on ( which I expect is what it should do now).

Do I need a new wire harness or have the computer re-programed?

There is a different wire harness for the wing electrics for a fixed wing car - and it varies by exact model.

You need to tell us the model and model year of your car. As well, what fixed wing? Porsche or 3rd party?

I am trying to change my retractable, spoiler deck lid to a fixed wing spoiler  deck lid. I purchased a Porsche wiring harness 996.612.070.04 to connect up the new spoiler. Unfortunately, I do not know where to connect the other end of the wiring harness.


Does anybody know where the other end of the wiring harness is located?

The connector should be on the right fender in the engine compartment.
