99 996 Coupe

I have a very annoying squeak coming from the trim that runs down the passenger side of the rear window. I know what's causing the problem but cant get the trim off to fix it. One of the metal clips that attaches the trim to the body has been bent over instead of clipping over the metal. I can see it if I remove the trim surrounding the seat belt apperture.

Any ideas on how to take that trim panel off and how many other bits need to come off to enable this.

Thanks.

1. Carefully pry the clothes hanger up and off the top of the B pillar.

2. Pull inwards until that C pillar piece comes off.

You may have to replace the sheetmetal clips if they get bent or break.

Thanks Loren,

I was able to get the panel halfway off, the panel that runs under the rear window was stopping it from coming off completely but it was enough for me to remove and replace the bent clip.
