I need more neg camber in my ROW M030 '99. It's a 30% DE car and the front is maxed out at -1deg. My tires are wearing very badly on the outside, and not much on the inside. My assumption is that this non-symmetric tire wear is caused by insufficient neg camber.

And before anyone asks, my air pressure isn't a contributor to this. At least I don't think that it is. I arrived at my current 29F, 34R after a lot of monitoring of sidewall abrasion. Tires are Yoko AD07.

So if I need more neg camber, what's the smartest way to get it? What's the least cost way to get it? My objective is to be able to get 2deg of neg front camber. Even if I don't end up using all of -2deg, at least that will allow me to experiement that far in the neg camber range.

I'm hesitant to lower the car any more. That would just create more problems with driveways and trailers.

got me wondering about this problem. When I got home and swaped my tires, the wear was pretty even. I do not know what is the alignment on mine, but will see next time I am at Hendricks if they give me a read. Would be a good comparison since we drove the same track. I ran 26F 32R cold, and they got to 35F 42R right after tracktime.

I have the Manthey Uniball strut tops and am running over 3 degrees negative camber on my front. The real benefit of the monoball strut tops, however, is the increased caster provided (currently set at about 8 degrees). The additional caster provides much sharper turn in, increased stability on the straight ahead, and zero lateral deflection mid-bend.
