Parking sensors - increasing volume?

For those of you that have the parking distance sensors in the rear, do you find the volume to be barely audible especially with the engine running? I can hear it just fine with the engine off. I'd like to know if there's a way to increase the volume somehow. My dealership doesn't know of such a way. Any suggestions?

Your dealer needs to go back to training school. ;)

1. Connect the PIWIS tester 9718 to the vehicle and start it. Switch on the ignition. >> Continue.

2. Select the vehicle type.

3. Switch to the Special functions menu and perform the vehicle handover using the F8 key.

4. In the Special functions menu, erase All fault memories by pressing >>.

5. Carry out automatic search of control units.

6. Using the >> key, move from the vehicle type to the list of control units.

7. Select ParkAssist with the cursor keys and press the >> key.

8. Select Coding and press the >> .

9. Select Vehicle type and code with F8 .

MANY MANY thanks Loren! I'll stop by the dealership to see if they can do this for me. I'm not sure why they didn't know about this feature.

Well, I have good news and bad news. I stopped by my local dealership (Barrier) and their tech was only too happy to hook up the PIWIS to adjust the PDC setting but as it turns out the default setting is already "loud." That's the bad news, the good news is that it's there. :D
