It's an '02 Carerra with only 1800 miles. A few drops of oil on the garage floor every morning after it sits all night after driving. The drops are under the right rear. I'm going to have to buy something to get under there and take a look. Any recommendations a good lift for home garage use? Any thoughts on the leak? It's still under warranty. I am driving now on a more regular basis.

Thanks.

Mine started leaking at about 800 miles. But it was more along the centerline of the car, just in front of the engine. About a quarter-size drop or two per day.

I've been thinking about lifts also, but I haven't decided yet.

An RMS leak is dead center under the car right between the engine and transmission. Sounds like a valve cover to me if it is near a wheel. Either way a good dealer will check and fix any and all leaks when you take it in.

Thanks, Loren. I plan to have the leak checked out. I also have the CEL light ON. I just replaced the gas cap with a new one. I noticed that the gasket is wider and flatter than the old one. I disconnected the neg- terminal. So, let's see if that was the problem. It will take a few days to see if the CEL comes on again. I also plan on ordering the OBD software and cable. Wouldn't it be nice if the existing computer would provide a little more information?
