So I just got back from the dealership who replaced a micro switch for the top. When I got home and pressed the fob to lock it everything went fine, then about 10 seconds later the horn beeps TWICE. I capitalize twice because it is not the single blast for something left open, it beeps twice. Any ideas??

From the owner's manual (986)

"A double horn signal during locking indicates a defect in the central locking or alarm system. Have the defect remedied at an authorized Porsche Dealer."

Sorry, but suspect it's an issue w/ the micro switch - again. Does it do it when you have the top open (and w/out a red clip in place)? If so, that's your problem again...

I could be wrong, but I think it beeps twice when the motion sensor faults or was faulted before correctly setting - which of course is activated by the micro switch.

No it only seems to do it with the top up and in the locked position. Are you saying I have a faulted microswitch the day it came back from the dealer and I need to take it back?? Thanks for the help by the way!

To know the exact cause of the "beep" zone open you will need the Durametric software, or a PST2 or a PIWIS tester.

Any of those diagnostic tools will tell you exactly where the fault is.
