Hi

I am cinsidering updating my PCM 1 8 bit to the later 16 bit version, I have read in the archives that this enables use of newer more up to date maps from either Porsche or Opal, however other than this are there any other advantages ie increased functionality/improved/more detailed graphics/maps?

Thanks

Duncan

In Spain PCM I users who have 16 bits unit, are lucky men.

The last OEM Porsche CD ROM maps are referred to year 2.000. But someone found a compatibility with OPEL Siemens/Navteq Spain and Portugal 2.006-2.007 :o :o :o

I have a 996 '04 and my last update is referred to year 2.005

PCM I 16 bits owners are lucky in Spain B) B)

Why don't you try to search compatibility with other brands?
