Removing bumper

How long should it take to remove the front bumper on a 99 C2 Coupe?

I've read some posts on how to take it apart and estimate about 1 hour?? If it's short enough and cheap enough, I'm thinking of asking my independent shop take it apart to clean around the radiator and AC (save myself some of the trouble).

Remove and install should easily take less than 1 hour.

With a good cleaning it might take a bit longer.

Basically just look at my 3rd Radiator Install Instructions here. It is the same process.

We are doing this on Chuck Jones car on Saturday so I'll see if Chuck will take some fresh pics too.

Pat, if you're around Columbia, I can stop by and give you a hand with it. I've done it at least three times on my 996 now.

Sure, it just depends on whether you like to lie down to work.

Jack stands (or ramps) just seem like a comfortable work height (while sitting down).

Like bolts and clips placements, etc.

Very similar yes, the same not quite. But bumper removal is still pretty straight forward using the same instructions.
