spark plugs question

Hi guys im wondering in how many kilometers should we change our spark plus? every 10tkms? coz we dont have a dealer here so we have to maintain the car ourselves thnx :D

30K miles or 48K kilometers

911 Carrera (996) as of MY01 (1) every 60,000 miles (96,000 km) or at least every 4 years

for 99, 00 and 01 is every 30k miles

Hi,

I wonder if the "every four years" is something that is important to follow. It has been four years and 10,000 miles since the last spark plug change. Should I go ahead and change them?

Also, in 2005, the first and prior owner had the spark plugs changed by the dealer. It was either the first or second spark plug change for this 1999 Carrera 4. Would the tubes have been changed out given there was a Service Bulletin on the tubes for 1999 cars? (I'm wondering if I should change the tubes in the coil packs if I'm doing the spark plugs).

I change my MY99 after 5 years - they looked and ran okay but there was some corrosion on the electrical contacts.

If the car is late MY99 then the oil tubes are likely the newer design. Either way if they are not leaking then I would leave them alone.
