Hi,

I have tried to remove the Airbag from my old 4-Spoke steeringwheel.

It seems to fit a size-4 umbraco and a T25 Torx even better, but perhaps a T27 is the perfect fit.

Can anyone tell me exactly what tool will fit the 2 4-Spoke steeringwheel screws ?

Kind regards

Morten

T30

Are you sure - also for the OLD steering-wheel ?

It just seems a bit too big for the old one, I know that it is the right fit for the new 3-spoke.

Anyways, thanks a lot for the quick answer.

T30 work on both the 3 and 4 spoke steering wheels.

Thank you :) Great help - I ordered the tool as a screw driver as the hole on the 4-spoke i very narrow.

Good Day ... I am looking to upgrade my Boxster steering to 3-spoke, check from the Design911 cost about 1,+++

Big Question --> Would it fit my 1999 Boxster ???

Appreciate any feedback ... cheer ;)

It's true that they are in very tight from the factory. But also keep in mind that loosening of a bolt that is facing away from you requires you to turn in the opposite direction. Make sure you're not turning the screwdriver the wrong way.

Have you tried asking the folks that make that particular steering wheel?

Most folks upgrade to the Porsche 3 spoke wheel for the airbag and safety.
