Removing passenger seat

Hey guys,

I wanted to remove the front passenger seat in my 2006 997 Carrera, but didn't know how to go about doing this. I was wondering if anyone can help me out (I plan on replacing the seat immediately afterwards but I wanted to remove it for a while).

Hi,

If I remeber right, You remove the plastic clips from

the front of the seat rails with a small screwdriver. Then torx out the bolts. Then

slide the seat forward and undo the two torx's on the rear rails.

Last you disconnect a wire that is under the seat. The hard

part is disconnenting the wire. Then remove the seat. The

driver's side is easier then the passenger side for disconnecting

the wire.

Step 1 - Remove the keep from the ignition (so you don't get an airbag light).
