Hello. In another forum (rennlist Cayenne), there was an offer from a Loren to post instructions for replacing the rear hatch struts. Still learning how these sites are organized, and I wasn't sure my reply to that offer in the other forum would be seen by Loren. So I'm posting this here, hoping I found him.

It would be great if you could post the instructions from the service manual.

Thanks for the thorough description and details. Where can one purchase replacement struts other than a retail Porsche shop? I am in Colorado US,.

Before ordering the rear door struts ( 2x ) check the door glass struts ( the smallest ) first, they have to lift the glass perfect. The big door struts are not able to lift up the door "as new", they needs the help from the glass struts as well.
