Hi Everyone,

New to the forum...just got a 944 Turbo, and have had it in the shop for 3 out of the last four weeks. First was the PPI (came up clean), then a standard oil service, and yesterday to repair the fuel gauge and replace the winshield washer valve. Planned all around. Went out and drove around after leaving the dealership yesterday for a bit, and a few hours after parking the car, found this small blotch of oil under the right front tire area.

Any ideas what this might be and if I should be concerned?

Thanks!

It's impossible to say where the leak is from that photo..... best take it back to the garage that did the service.

to far back to be the steering rack. might be a rear main seal or rear cam box gasket. it will run down the motor and since it is tilted will drip from the lowest part of the bellhousig.

He had the oil changed. Probably just oil dripping down that was spilt when taking the filter off.

Otherwise, probable (not likely) loose oil filter, oil sender, etc.....
