hello

I have tried in the past to remvoe my tail lights to replace reverse bulbs with xenon or bright bulbs but tried and did not succeed...i was afraid of doing body damage..anyone have any suggestions at all for removal?

yes but i have put a painfull (to the body not me haha) amount of effort into remvoing it and it just will not budge

After removing the two allen bolts, you have to pull with both hands the tail light out from the front to the rear. There is a plastic clip situated on the rear and approx. in the middle of the light and sticks as hell. You can with a wooden wedge push the light out after protecting the paint with tape, it is a painful moment but after you heard a loud CLAC the light comes out without any damage.
