Hi All,

I was wondering if any one knew the paint code for the silver that you can get some of the interior trim in. In the past I have been told its arctic silver, but I compared the current door handles I have (original) against an arctic silver boxster and if completely different.......the interior silver is more smooth (less metallic) and brighter (like a chrome effect type)

Any one have any ideas?

Also, I have seen a number of images where people have colored there vents in the boxster red leather colour......is there a paint code for this??

Cheers

Russ

i think what you're describing is called 'Aluma-look'.

Eric over at Bumperplugs will know that paintcode. He sells products in that color.

i think his email is Eric at Bumperplugs dot com.

He won't tell you. I've asked, But accoding to the Dupont /Spies Hecker chart

Aluma Look is " ALU 03 EFFECT " and is listed for Cayenne trim etc.

Code is 4W9 and Dupont stock code is X1070

Mike,

You are a legend, you were right, he wouldn't tell me, said that it is a special color that they have developed. They were helpful in selling me their products, but not helpful in offering help in the code. I was going to get some of the bump plugs, but I have now decided to model my own on CAD and get them 3D plastic printed off on our STL machine!!

Thanks Mike, I will give that code you gave me a go, appriciate it
