PSM and ABS off HELP PLEASE

I have a 996TT with the PSM and ABS check on and thus disconnected, the dealer has checked the car all over and says they don’t find what is the problem, lastly they told me I had to change the DME according to them that is the problem, any one had this problem?

It isn’t any of the cables on each tire either... Also any of the cables of the brakes...

HELP PLEASE

They also thought it was that and I took my other car and switched the sensor from one car to the other to see if it would go away and the same, but the sensor used to test was from a 996 carrera 2002 and this car is a 996TT 2001

Hi

The problem areas for that are: MAF sensor - brake light switch - wiring on the front shock absorber left and / or right in the area of the fixation grommet, you have to cut the wire and grommet open, broken wiring by up and down movements of the shock absorber. I hope its helps.

I had a problem like this on my 996TT.

The fault code was 5525 ( DME error code) and the PSM/ABS light went on.

Everything was checked. MAF sensor, leaks, DVs.

The end was that i had to have a new DME box. Then is was OK.

Is this a tiptronic with modified ECU?

just had the front left wiring harness replaced as mine was doing that. Second time (right side last year) but what gets me is they will nt pay for this fault under warranty- why as they know it is a design fault (they have a repair harness). Porsche is really going to the dogs on silly claims!
