There is a leak at the lower level of the reservoir, I can see that one hose is attached, but I cannot see the other. The leak is from the area of the black pump area if not from it.

I have gotten to the stage where I have the wheel liner out, the two upper bolts out and the reservoir is being held by the "grommet" on the door (blind) side of the reservoir. What is the next step to get the tank out? Take off the driver's door and access the "grommet" that way... or PULL hard....?

Should be three bolts and pull it off the gromment (toward the front of the car).

Since you have headlight washers there will be two pumps and the various hose to disconnect.

When you replace it make sure you get the right tank as the one for cars with headlight washers is slightly larger (996.528.701.00).

I have found two bolts.. they are on the upper part of the tank and go straight up.. do not see.. not found a thrid bolt....

I have had 9 and 9 out.. 7 just fixes the tank to the plastic "arm"

So IF I have them out I just PULL on the tank? that is what I was unsure of.

Yes, gently release it from the gromment (item 10). I say gently because sometimes the on older cars the connections get brittle and easily break.
