I have just spent 1/2 hour getting no results using the search function here, so I thought I would pose this question directly! Sorry if this is a repeat.

I have a memory of seeing a thread that addresses an alarm wire (I think) going into a Becker CDR-220, and the car not properly locking and/or the horn honking when the Becker is removed and an aftermarket NAV is installed.

I am about to install the new Panasonic "Strada," CN-NVD905U, which just knocked my socks off with it's iPod interface capabilities...along with all the other functions!

Can anyone help me identify the proper wire involved in this small issue, and also tell me what to do with it?!? (no anatomical locations, please!)

Thanks, and all the very best.
