I don't know the part number, but they are all the same, for boxsters or 996/997's.

You can get them cheaper from ebay, or pay more from one of the other online auto stores.

I'd like to get OEM ones if available to get a perfect match.

We stock and sell ONLY the units provided by the oem supplier to Porsche, no knock-offs here.

Order online anytime ---> BumperPlugs.com

Thanks. Email me with questions: eric@bumperplugs.com

I have seen the silver rings from different sources and they are ALL the same. Guy on eBay has them for $60 with shipping. Don't get me wrong..bumper Plugs has great stuff. I have ordered through them before.

I agree, all the guage rings are essentially the same. I bought these on ebay -

They fit and look great. Use clear silicone to install whatever rings you may buy. Don't spend the extra money for "OEM" rings they are not worth it.

I have bought from Bumper Plugs, and they are a great vendor, I highly recommend them, but the "OEM" rings are not worth any extra.

I just installed mine a few weeks back, got the same ones from that ebay seller for $61 shipped.

There were some "imperfections" on the inside edges of 2 of the rings.

I think it's from the stamping or cutting of the rings.

I used a dremel tool to grind it perfect, then buffed it smooth.

Everything was fine otherwise, the finish is good, but doesn't match the original interior brushed aluminum 100%.

I don't know if the other claimed "OEM" rings are 100% matching either.

Overall, the ebay ones are a good deal, but expect some imperfections, you can fix those easily though.

And I have not seen the other "OEM" rings, so I don't know what kind of quality they are of.

When you say it doesn't match the interior aluminum-i ask-what aluminum!! Granted the stock shift and handbrake upgrades are real aluminum but from what I can see-all other upgrades ars simply painted plastic!!! Am I wrong?? Edited by Loren
