HI all,

Recently I came across a set of rims, but really don't know if those will fit a 01 boxster? the specs are 18 x 8 1/2 et50 front and 18 x 11 et52 in the

rear... I was told by some that it's not gonna fit and some say it'll fit if spacer is used... is this rim going to fit or not?? any one shine some light on it? the

front will go on fine, it's the rear... or 18 x 10 et 65 I'll be fine? thanks in advance!

I have 18 x 10's et 47 on the rear of my '02 S. Anything wider will hit the rear control arms. The 996 wheels you mention would require a 5mm spacer and they would most likely not fit under the fender.

As an update for those interested in wheels for your Boxster, I've included some pics that show the challenge of placing wider wheels. My car is an '02 S, lowered with H&R Sport Springs. The control arms are quite close with 10" wheels et 47. In fact, when I first installed the 10s, the parking cable rubbed on the inside of the wheel; I tied it back with a cable tie. There is only finger clearance with the control arm in my setup. As stated, pictures speak, so I've included a few for your review.

So with my upcoming rears 10x18 offset 52 I need 5mm spacers? I guess my fronts 8x18 offset 48 should be fine? I have 01 S.

Any help greatly apreciated.

Thanks,
