I have option code 236 but it doesn't show in the decoder list, what is it? and I have an option 09991 " manufacture from the exclusive - program" does anyone know what that means.

http://www.kindel.com/Porsche/options.asp this is where I got the 09991 descrition, it doesn't come up in the decoder on this (renntech) site

236 - 18" tires

09991 - means that one or more options on your car are part of the Porsche Exclusive Option program. That means that the parts specially (usually hand made) for your car. Replacement of many Exclusive options takes more time as the parts usually have to be re-made. In some cases Porsche requires a VIN number before building exclusive replacement parts.

I did a search of the exclusive option program and was directed back to this thread. Is there any information about what options are included in the program?

MY02 Targa.

From your model year order guides it would be any option starting with "X".

Loren, thanks for the reply, these are the "X" option codes on my car, they look pretty common to me

X54 Oval Chrome Exhaust Pipes

X70 Metal Door Sill with Insignia

X71 Aluminum Instrument Dials

X97 Aluminium/leather shift knob

X98 Aluminium/leather parking break handle

XJ6 Leather Steering Wheel Casing

XSC Crest on Headrest
