Loren, I think I need your help on this one! :help:

I have a 2003 996TT.

I received some new new silicone pipes matched to my IC hoses in order to reposition my AP BOV among other things. Got rid of all the old rubber garbage in there (F-pipe as well as the intake return piece). Worked out great and I'll post pics later. Along the way though, I ripped out a solenoid (the one attached to the old BOVs) and ended up with a few vaccum connections that are now more or less unused.

I looked through my rubbish online service manual, but I don't have a map of where all these connections go to/from, or what the solenoid is for. I connected the new BOV to a boost/vaccum source, so I know I'm ok there, but I took out the rigid pipe that snakes under the Y-pipe as well and reconnected that port to a spare source on the other side of the engine. I think the rigid black vaccum pipe that was routed under the Y-pipe to the intake was for the secondary air injection, but I'm not sure.

Basically I rerouted all of these spare lines to connect to each other so that now I have no leaks, but I'd like to better know what I have bypassed. The car seems to run fine, but if anyone could hook me up with a better diagram I'd really appreciate it. I'd like to continue replacing the hose that's left with some new silicone lines I have anyway.

Man, it's TIGHT to get in there to change all those lines out. Looks like my hunch was correct that I don't need that solenoid connected to the BOV. Now time to get rid of the secondary air injection and other assorted junk...
