TSBs sometimes cover accessory installations (like Sport Exhaust, CDC-4 CD Changer, Telephone, etc., etc.) - but there is not a TSB on the steering wheel.

Perhaps that is because it is covered in the service manual.

There is nothing special about removing the steering wheel - once the airbag is safely removed.

Why does the

once the airbag is safely removed
comment a little disturbing to me?

What if it's not safely removed? What if it blows while you are safely or unsafely removing it.

Are there any (safe version) instructions for this?

no worries the airbag will NOT active or deploy beacsue there is a sensor on thevehicle you cannot manually deploy an airbag
