I'm in serious need of my radio code. I have a Becker CR-210, I've seen on the posts how to locate the serial number and it is: WS010117

Any help is greatly appreciated, I'm hoping that loren can hook me up.

Thanks

Greg

Try 4522

Loren,

Thanks for the help but unfortunetly that code isn't working. I turned on the radio, it said code then I entered 4522 but nothing. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

You put the code in when it prompts (as I recall). The code goes in as stars (*).

Also, try 4520 or 4418.

My little program doesn't work on all the older radios...

With the CR21 you have to push the arrow button upward (or down maybe) after entering the four digits. The 22s just need the four digits but there is a "enter" step required on the 21s.

OK, I got out of bed and checked the manual : enter the four digits and confirm by pressing the 'automatic' switch -- which is the double arrow one at the right hand side.

PS: if you have tried the other two codes Loren offered you might be locked out for 24 hours: think this is ignition on time so it might take a while to clear.

3 incorrect entries = 60 min lockout

leave the ignition on aux (one turn) for 60 mins and it resets, if you turn it off inbetween that period you have to start all over again

Thanks you guys, it was 4520 then hit the seek button down. I really appreciate the team effort and Loren thanks for the codes.

If those codes don't work then you will need to call Becker or a Porsche dealer and be prepared to prove ownership and pay (about $35 as I recall).

I have tried the above ones but no luck

I'm not surprised as the codes are serial number dependent. Have you got the same serial number as above? If not post it here. Information on how to obtain the serial number can be found by searching on the forum if you don't have it to hand,
