I've searched and haven't found anything on this problem I have. Yesterday I washed my 97 boxster, and afterwards on the drive, my son lowered his window. When I got home, he couldn't raise it with the switch. Drivers side worked fine. I tried to raise it with the key and my window that was up, went down and his went up. So I lowered mine with the rocker and raised them both with the key. All fine. This morning, went to check things out and both lowered fine....but neither one goes back up! Not with the rocker switch, or with the key. Both are down 100%. I'm in a comunity garage and getting ready to panic! I checked and there's no water or dampness under the seats. I'm going to check the fuses, but if the window lowers fine but doesn't rise, I don't think it's a fuse. Please help.

FIXED!!!!!.....I was checking to see if there was something else failing, and everything looked good. Last thing to check was the roof and it opened and closed fine....and afterwards, so did my windows. All up and running. Some type of micro-switch for the roof that also affects the windows ! (?)

The switch in the interior light unit ( makes contact with the hook of the soft top when fully closed )
