Hi Folks,

Has anyone upgraded the bulbs in the factory fog lights to something brighter or whiter? If so, with what? If not, is it not recommended?

Thanks,

Paul

Same as the low beams (H7) and I think 55W. Easiest way is to pull out the standard bulb that is in the fog light place and it will say something like H7 55W. Then, just purchase the bulb that you want (whiter, etc.) with those classifications. Just don't get suckered into those crappy rice rocket bulbs that they have at PepBoys, etc. I replaced mine with SuperWhites (about $40-50) and they look good. I had too since I have the litronics and the regular fog bulb looks yellow compared to the litronic light.

The foglights are H11.

I checked with Hella -who makes most of this stuff for PAG- and they don't have a replacement bulb other than the standard one.

IMHO, this is the best xenon fog light bulbs ever. I had them installed on my previous BMW M3 and they are what they advertised. They look great too.

I ordered the same H11 fog light bulbs from this guy and installed them in my Cayenne. They work and they look marvellous. Esp when they look blue on the fog lifht housing when off and AWESOME when on.
