Hello All

i just ordered the outter pillars for my cayenne in black

the front two remove no problem without a hitch

but the rears are a PITA :cursing:

I was told i need to remove the rear glass via Lorens pdf

anyone ever do this or have ideas if you must remove that rear glass?

First of all you have to remove the interior trim, the glass and pillar have a fixation with nuts.

So such as the headliner? or how and what needs to be removed inside?

how much would the dealer charge to remove the 2 rear?

is it a big deal to remove the rear pillars i have doen minor work on the cayennes

Only the side trim must be removed, replacement rear pillars = approx. 2.00 h. of labour for a experienced person.

Dealer will ask at leas 2,5 hours for rem\reinstall rear glasws only.

Really you do not need remove all windows, C pillar trims fixed on double side tape on surface and two plastic clamps on front edge. From my practice I know no possible to install new part as strong as original one installed, we allways add some glue to adhesive tape.

If you have one glass removed to see inside - you can see how to carefully remove original part and glue new one with pu sealant witout any works on interior trims.

Hello! No, inner c pillar trim not enought (or not nessesary, do not remember). You should remove side trims of trunk and d pillars first.

Were you ever able to replace the C Piller covers without removing the window? I want to intall black ones. Any help would be GREATLY appreaciated.
