Removing E-Brake Handle?

Is removing the e-brake handle a simple task, or is it an ordeal? I want to change mine for an all leather version, but don't want to have to take the entire center/rear console out to do it.

There is no way to do it without removing the rear center console (which is not as hard as you might think).

Thanks for the link. No WAY is it worth the trouble! I'll get used to the fake aluminum look!

I can remove the rear center console in about 5 minutes (I done too many B&M short shifter installs -- LOL)

It's not so much the removal o f20 screws, but all the other steps needed to remove and replace the hand brake handle. Pass!

Wow, 5 minutes? You must be sick of seeing these consoles by now!
