I'm considering 19" wheels for a 997 C2. Can I get some input on how they behave? I have 18's on a boxster s and might not want to go larger on that car. We have some rough roads in MN. Thanks!

Not sure where you heard that. I have seen several Boxsters with 19" wheels. Perhaps an issue with the offset of the wheels or having them balanced properly. Consult the dealership before you make a purchase you may regret. Personally I would stick with 18" since you can have tires with wider side walls to cushion those MN roads.

i haven't heard of issues with 19's, just thinking they might be a bit harsher than 18's and looking for some confirmation either way. btw, I meant 996, not 997, unfortunately.

I have a set of 18" stock wheels and a set of 19" RUF wheels. Other than looks I can't really notice any big difference in the feel and handling ( normal street use ) They are both pretty hard riding on rough roads. The 19s are about 7 lbs heavier per wheel and tire than the 18s plus the 19s use a big spacer on my car. I think there is a big difference between 17 and 18 in ride but maybe not much between 18 and 19.
