Probably cheaper and nicer looking to just put a cayman bumper cover and spoiler on the car. I'm not a great fan of the aerokit for the boxster.

Nice, but thats the back of a 986 you are looking at ! better to get the covers and spolier from a Cayman , should be a direct fit.

i asked about this but was told the car also needs the front spoiler to maintain aerodynamic integrity. i gave up as i don't hate the current one enough to spend 4k pounds changing it.

That sounds like official porsche talk. Take a look on boxa.net (the largest forum on the net for boxsters) and ask for some pics of ARAF's car. He has a 987 with a cayman rear bumper cover and spoiler. The car regularly goes to the track and i've heard no issues with rear end lift ...

I ordered all the parts for doing the Conversion from Porsche, and it was a relatively easy job.

1. Order Parts:

• Cayman spoiler (lower): 987 504 623 00
 • Cayman spoiler (upper): 987 504 619 00
 • Oval HD screw (Qty: 7): 999 919 233 07

2. Prime, Base coat and Seal the upper spoiler

3. Remove old Spoiler

4. Install new spoiler
