I have joined several Porsche forums over the past few weeks and I'm starting to see a trend. I'm 30 years old and still enjoy modding cars. Porsche's have a plethora of available products and I plan to purchase many of these items. Many readers frown on 20" wheels and lowering of our car. Why?

I have been reading this site all day and feel more at home here. I noticed several topics about exhausts.

I live in Birmingham Al. and just south of me is a tuner called APR. They chipped my R32 a few years ago and made a big difference in the way it performed.

Now they are tuning Porsches. I just got my car back with a new Billy Boat exhaust and re-written software. The sound is perfect as well as the throttle response. APR took the 997 tt up to 750 hp. They know tuning. Next in line is a set of Techart Formulas sprayed black and lowered with H&R 20mm springs. I just ordered the wing as well. Type III of course.

I hope that some of you will discuss mods and gremlins associated with the 997 with me. When all work is complete I will post some photos. Believe it or not I don't own a digital camera, so it may take awhile.

Anyway, thanks for reading.

If any of you are ever in B'ham for the Barbers track or the school, call me up.

Thanks,

Dave

Hi,

Sounds like you need to spend about $150 for a digital camera. If

you check out reenlist, there is a guy with a picture with 20" tires

and lowered. Maybe a supercharger is just around your

corner.
