Wiper problem with 98 Boxter

Having an intermittant problem with my wipers on my 98 Boxter, with the snowy weather it seems that my wiper are stuck, even though I have cleared off ice or snow. They are ok after I start them by hand

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like the wiper motor might have what's called a dead spot on the rotor commutator. Might be time to shop around for a replacement motor or take your old one apart and get the brushed checked and clean the commutators bars.

Easy item to get out for any DIY, check the Bentley for details. If you want to do it on a budget have the the motor looked at by a show that does alternators, starters, blowers, ect. You are looking at $40 or less if you don't tell them what it's out of...
