987 BOXSTER EXHAUST UPGRADE, B&B,FABSPEED,MILLTEK,TUBI.

Hi everyone.

Is there anyone who has extensively compared the different exhaust manufacturers that claim the HP with headers,cats, and mufflers recently.

All the ones I have listened to on videos sound great, all make claims of large HP increase. Fabspeed claim 19 to 20 HP, so does Milltek sports along with tubi. B & B claim 25HP. also cargraphics.

Out of all of these exhaust system which company realy give you the truth for your money.

I am not interested in how pretty they look, as long as they do the job and there claims are real.

I have read that B & B did not fair very well, in some cases they lost power or gave very little HP .

Can any one verify this, and if some one out there has recent stats on these exhaust systems or other sites that might give me some answers that would be appreciated as I Have no experence with any of these companies.

Everything I have read suggests that there is no horsepower to be gained by changing just the muffler. In fact, there is the possibility of losing power. You have to alter both sides of the engine --

intake and exhaust -- to see any significant gains: ecu, headers, muffler.

I dyno'd my sc before and after installing a fabspeed pipe and gained 14 hp.
