Hi!

Just want to say hi from Tokyo! I just bought my first Porsche, a 2003 996TT today.

One question: sounds like the diverter valve is something that I will need to replace eventually. Would you recommend that I just go ahead and do it now?

Yes it is good preventative maintenance, especially if you are going to mod. You can think about doing the boost hoses at the same time. Good luck, enjoy the car.

Thanks for the advice kris. I'll do it next time I take the car to the shop.

And I just got the durametic software to dump out any codes, and luckily, none found

Think about replacing the F-hose when you get the diverters done. That way, you don't pay twice for labor.

I was told the boost hoses were improved starting with 2002. You could probably save your money on those. The F hose would be a good idea to replace if you are doing the divertors. Use the aftermarket silicon one.

Thanks for the advice, I am thinking of the EVO F-hose and diverter valves. Any experience with it?

Those are great, proven choices. I personally have Forge diverters and an F-hose from vividracing.com, but you cannot go wrong with evoms.
