Now that I will be getting a new clutch ( at 41k miles ), I have read it is wise to get the RMS work done at the same time. Now, I have been very lucky to not *yet* seen any leakage or issue with the RMS on my 996 02 C4 cab. I'm almost afraid to mess with it - unless the RMS is a "newer" one or something is improved, or just worth it to have done at this point in the cars life.

If you change the clutch, change the seal by the latest version. Believe my it is a must!!
