Hi

It is not normal for a 997 C2, C4 and turbo. A G.T.2 is an other question.

Thanks

It slightly vibrates but not disturbingly, The idle is at approx 850 - 900 rpm. I thought maybe this would be common on these cars

My 06 C2 does the same thing but idles a little rough at 700-733 (warm idle). The tach needle bounces a little bit and the engine sounds/feels a bit rough. Haven't been to the dealer yet. Are you going to take yours?

Is it normal for a 997 to have the two front seats trembling at idle?

yes, I noticed this with the passenger seat. It stops when I put my hand on it.

I think I just learn to live with all the little rattles with the car's quirks.
