Thanks for response Loren.

So, based on that in order to by-pass it all I would have to do is bridge the two connectors, or eliminate the switch and connect the two wires, is that correct, any negative consequences in the electrical/computer system of the car?

Use a zip tie on the switch. This is what I and many others did. Works fine and is easily reversible. Much easier than wiring changes. The only real disadvantage is the possibility of banging into something (garage wall, etc.) if you try to start it when it is in gear.

Attention,the switch is also a parameter for cars with TEMPOMAT. Problems will occure.

I have had the clutch interlock shorted closed on my car since I purchased it 2 years ago with no problems at all

IMHO, if you can't remember to depress the clutch when you start the car, you probably shouldn't be driving a Porsche.
