I've had this intermittent problem with the directional bulb light not functioning. Every once in awhile, when I push the directional stalk to signal a right turn, the front directional bulb doesn't blink and I get a warning in my dash. Once I turn off the engine and restart it, it works normally again.

The dealer changed the entire headlight assembly last year for this problem but it's still happening. The last few times, I took it in, the dealer "tightened" the connection, whatever that means.

Any suggestions other than stop turning right?

I notice that the new 2008 models have a revised turn signal light, I'll bet that this is a recurring problem.

I had the same problem with my driver's side front turn signal- was intermittent and would blink real fast and throw the famous !. Dealer got me a new bulb- luckily he just gave me the bulb as I didn't have time to stop and have them replace it- told him I'd do myself- haven't done it yet and the bulb has been working now fine for a couple months... now I have an extra bulb- they said it was something you couldn't get at NAPA or OReilly's for example and they didn't have one in stock.

I bet it's a bad bulb or connection with the bulb itself. A trip to the dealer for you...

I think I'll give the bulb switch a try. Sylvania makes a silver one that turns amber when switched on so it's street legal.

I'll update the board if it works.
