I've stupidly cracked the rear plastic screen on my Boxster by operating it in cold weather! When funds allow I will replace it with the glass window upgrade available here in the UK. In the meantime one idea I've had is to buy a used top on ebay. Does anyone know of a site or document that describes the process of removing and refitting the top? I know this is a long job, but is it complex or just tedious? (Tedious I can handle!). Are there special tools required?

Many thanks

I really don't think installing a used top is a good idea. Material isn't that expensive so I'd go with a new GAHH's top.

I think there is a how to on this on this board... Sorry but I don't have a link to it. Maybe you can do some searching...

I agree. The aftermarket tops probably require professional install because they do not come with the metal side strips. If you are good with tools you could probably install a factory top.
