Hey all! I am looking on putting a new muffler on my 02 Boxster S.

Not really for horsepower, but because my stock muffler has a small

leak, sounds horrible and is getting worse. I was told that the following

muffler is a great choice "Boxster 986 MAXFLO Exhaust "

http://fabspeed.com/Boxster.html

I was wondering if I could just put this on without having to reprogram or rechip the boxseter. I would

just like to replace the stock muffler with this and do no other mods.

Is getting rid of the other cats (cat-back system) going to be a problem later on

down the road. The site says everthing will work fine. What do you think? Thanks.

I had mine installed little over year ago, and I have to say.. it's great product and I love it every time I drive.

It was very easy to install and no need to reprogram nor catalyst need to remove. Bolt on install and only tip is do the install in the morning or let it cool for least 3 hours.

Exhaust get hot very easy and takes some time to cool it off.

Good luck and enjoy your new FABSpeed.
