Does anyone know where the PDC buzzer (bip bip) is located? under the dash?

Also where does the PDC harness comes in the car (i mean from the sensors)

any pics apreciated.

According to the wiring diagram, the buzzer is incorporated in the instrument cluster. It looks like the wiring from the sensors comes into the car with the wires for the licence plate light. The PET shows a wiring harness for the licence plate light incorporating the parking assistent option. Sorry, I don't have any photos.

It seems that way. Like OBC I guess - it's there in all cars, even if it isn't connected.

Edit: I did consider doing the retrofit myself, but the price of all new parts was too much. I reckon I could get the rear bumper re-sprayed about 5 times for the same cost, and PDC doesn't stop other idiots hitting you. Maybe I'll look for some used parts sometime.

I think I have some good news for you, look far a BOsch Parkpilot URF 6, it is almost exactly the same as the porsche OEM.

This is the kit I'm going to install, the control unit is the same, the sensor and sensor rings also, so I'm going to do my own retrofit...
