Hi,

I recently installed the litronic retrofit kit using Toolpant's 9X6 Werks DVD (Great tutorial video by the way) for my 1999 Boxster. I installed the litronics using the wiretap method. The litronics work perfect, but I've encountered a problem...sound wise. When I drive the car, I hear this "buzz/hum" sound coming from the front of the car, particularly between 1st and 2nd gear. The sound is intermittent between 3rd and 4th gear, but predominantly noticeable between 1st and 2nd. I visually checked to see if anything was loose or dangling in the frunk compartment that might be causing the sound, but everything seems to be fine. I thought it might be the wiretaps, but the lights work fine, so I dont think its the wiretap connection. The fuses are 15amps like they are supposed to be. I also replaced my battery (Kirkland-48)about a week before I installed the litronics, but I never heard the sound after I installed the battery, only after I installed the litronics, so I dont think its the battery. I'm curious if anyone else has encountered this problem or if there is a fix for this. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks
