On a 2004 911, when I hit the wiper button, washer fluid comes out of the front wheel well. The pump does work, and does not leak unless the button is pressed. Is this something that I can attempt to fix ( I am pretty handy with tools) or does it need to be done at the dealership? Has anyone had this happen, if so, what is the likely problem?

Thanks in advance.

Its worth removing the cover for the battery and checking the connection there before you go through the trouble of removing the fender liner. The connection there can back out and you'll also see the fluid leaking out around the front wheel.
